Rather bland stories and weird as well. The longest story, Breath From The Depths, was probably the best, but very sad. An Unlucky Man and Out were also good. I’m not sure this author is for me. I loved Fever Dream, but this collection was just weird.

Loved this collection of short stories. Each was intresting and kept me wanting more.
The title should have been Seven Empty Rooms in One Empty House. The characters in these stories melt into each other. Their voices, their unease are too similar. They wander away from home, only to find themselves back in the middle of the same situation, the same conversation. Nothing is relieved or resolved. "Breath from the Depths" with its lonely old woman and her list was my favorite story, but its ending was so unsatisfying. I will soon forget it, its "words and things" will move away from me "at full speed".
