Astrid wants to be an astronaut, but is impatient. When her first (dream) space mission goes wrong (with a bit of a Goldilocks feel) she heads home and decides she needs more training after all.  Back home, her dad helps her with some more training.

My 4-year-old space fan enjoyed this one, and found it to be a good jumping off point for some imaginary space play. It wasn’t quite what I expected it to be from the title, but still enjoyable. I do wish the two halves of the book had tied together a little better.

I loved the imagination of this young girl in this story. She works so hard to train to be an astronaut and her dad supports her efforts.

What an adorable space-themed take on Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
