This was my least favorite in the series. There was too much going on with all the various groups showing up in the same plot resulting in confusion on my part. I'm happy this wasn't the last book. More to look forward to but hopefully not all the characters in the series in one book again.

Kelly Armstrong is a Favorite

I always know I will enjoy a Kelly Armstrong book. This was no different. I am really looking forward to the next one.

The hostile problem has now become the top priority for Casey and Eric as the council threatens to shut the town down after hostiles injured a hiker. However, Casey uncovers the truth behind the creation of the various factions in their area and the danger is even closer than they thought. At the same time, they are also dealing with the internal problems that come from a closed community. Knowing that this book is close to the end of the series, one can see where all the world-building is leading.

I adore this series and the characters Kelley Armstrong has created here.

This book probably deserves more than 3 stars but I’m pretty sure I’m burnt out on this series
