"خير الكلام ما قل ودل"، كتاب لا يتجاوز المئة صفحة، قال الكثير والكثير، لا يهمني بالعادة عدد صفحات الكتاب، المهم حقاً هو فهم الغاية والحكمة والخروج من الكتاب بشكل لا يشبه دخوله، أنا لست كما أنا، لم أصبح واحدة أخرى ولكنه أضاف لي عنصر جديد لشخصي، عنصر قد اشاركه وأضيفه لغيري.
الموضوع أكبر من مجرد تحول أحدهم من هيئة انسان الى حشرة، الفكرة ليست بهذه البساطة، أنه ليس رداء مؤقت ترتديه لمكان ما وينتهي الأمر، انه تحول لحالة دائمة، التحول الذي اثار في دماغك موجة تغيير عملاقة لشكل الحياة، لم تتخيل يوماً أن تنظر للحياة بهذا الشكل، شعرت بمشاعر غريبة جداً، الضياع ثم الرفض ثم محاول التقبل والتأقلم ثم إقناع الآخر بذاتك الجديدة ثم تعامل الآخر معك ثم نهايتك، خط الحياة غريب سواء كان يشبه الطبيعي الذي اعتدناه أم لا، فأنا أعيش بحالة إستغراب دائمة، حتى الطبيعي يدهشني ويجعلني أفكر، فكيف لو تحولت الى هيئة يستحيل عقلي تخيلها أصلاً!
كافكا مميز جداً بفلسفته وسوداويته، غريب بطريقة مخيفة او صادمة، أحببت التحول لعلي رفضته بالبداية ولكنني فضلته على الحالة السابقة.

I had to read this book for school, and I disliked every second of it. Terrible plot with terrible characters, and the ending was awful.

Going into the book, I knew exactly what I was getting myself into . I knew the general plot and I also knew not to expect lot from this and I’m giving it four stars solely on the reason and that I really enjoyed reading this book. It was really hard warming to see how his family was ready to cater to him, even when he turned into a insect, but then slowly beginning to cinsider him as a burden.
It was really upsetting to see how much they didn’t care for him towards the end, but then again, I don’t know how I would react i a situation has weird and disturbing as this.
Doesn’t really explain why he was changed into an insect why it was him out of all the other people in the world. It doesn’t read as a dream. I don’t think it is a dream but a reality.
He’s such a wonderful man catering towards his family and trying his best to get rid of his parents debt while giving them a luxurious life. They didn’t have to do anything and he could support his whole family. Why was it him that turned into an insect? He didn’t exhibit any despression from the lines that i read
It’s so sad to see how he was the sole breadwinner for his family yet how they gave upon him. The whole first chapter i was wondering why they didn’t also work (like they do later on), they could have cleared the debt in no time and freed their son.
