Book: Summer Sparrow
Author: Emmerson Hoyt
Series: Jackals & Vipers book 2

What a perfect ending to an incredible duet!

⚔️ “No one is free while others are oppressed”

I love all the characters - Mac and Colt have my heart ♥️ - and all the ups and downs of this book! I couldn’t stop reading, but I also never wanted it to end. The found family trope is one of my favourites and this series absolutely nailed it!

Did I want to throw my book across the room? Yes, several times! The angst, the turmoil, the heartbreak ❤️‍🩹

But is it all completely worth it? 10000% YES!!

Forever one of my most favourite duets!!!

Wow. I feel like I need to catch my breath right now. That ending. I want more I am so not ready to say goodbye to Rylee & Colton. Actually I am not ready to leave Eden at all. This duet was completely captivating. I can’t believe it’s a debut.

Book 1 I could hardly put down. This one took me some warming up to, the lack of communication in the first half of this book was a lot. I am glad I stayed along for the ride because from the halfway mark I was utterly consumed again.

Read this if you love Sons of Anarchy vibes with some good pining and a lot of angst. Just free your calendar and get ready to settle in.

mostly skimmed. the motorcycle club part was downplayed, i didn’t think the relationship between colt and rylee was all that awesome in book 1 to justify reading like 600 pages before they’re reunited.

If you loved the Ravenhood series by Kate Stewart, you will love this one. I’m surprised to rarely see it recommended-More people need to read this series.

It was a little drawn out in spots, but I loved the story overall and it sped up a lot in the second half.

it was a little frustrating how long took it long for them to figure out the voice was Vic

It’s just not the time.
I can’t stand the miscommunication currently.
