It is fun seeing the characters grow up, but I am not ready for Henry to pass.

A 4.5...another captivating Cork O'Connor story. And...leaves us hankering to read the next one with the last words.

I’m literally sobbing I love this man and I hate this man. I spent 3 nights of a canoe expedition bawling my eyes out to my friends about this book. “Gut-punch” is an understatement

William Kent Krueger is a master at capturing a sense of place in his writing. The O'Connor family is near and dear to me - I want to eat a Waaboo burger, read Jenny's book, and be a big sister to Stephen.
