I wish I didn't have to wait so long for the next installment! Loving this series and feeling impatient to find out what in the world is happening to 'all' of the Genesis teams.

Have to finish.

It certainly suffers from the typical book 2 slump, but I did still enjoy it. The first book had everyone go from individuals to suddenly having to work together as teams... Genesis 11 and Genesis 12. Book two has them coming together as one group... the only humans on an alien planet. It is a good concept, but we barely got to know the kids from 12 in the last book, so when they're suddenly more important, I felt like they were just shells of characters. (What do I know about Noor? She wears a hijab. That's it. Reintgen just really doesn't give us enough to really get to know and care about each character.) When you find out about Morning's Quinceañera and also that Emmett is 16... it just rings as false. I knew they were "kids" because that was part of the reason they were chosen, but at no point did they act like they were 15 or 16. It was quite unbelievable. It was also too much drama and backstabbing and espionage to really be believable. I know having tons of drama and surprises is what makes a book be such a page-turner, but it's also possible to overdo it so it's just... ridiculous.

DID NOT FINISH: 22%

I really enjoyed the first book but just couldn’t get into this one or really care about the characters in the same way I had with the first one. I think I would’ve been able to had I read it immediately after the first book, but I didn’t. Not sure whether I will ever try again or not but probably won’t be for a while if so.

This is so much fun, would make a great TV series.

Excelente. No pierde el ritmo y la novedad que me hizo devorarme el primero. Me encantó!! Pero me pareció una terrible falta de respeto que termine con semejante cliffhanger.
Suerte que ya tengo el siguiente a mano :)
