4 hurt/comfort stars

This was much darker than the other books in the series (which I would consider mafia-lite), as it dealt with sexual abuse/sex trafficking.

Part of me knows the relationship between Asya and Pavel wasn’t healthy, but that didn’t stop the good hurt 🥺😢 from reading about how they grew so attached while he was helping her heal.

“I wish I had the words to explain,” I say next to her ear and kiss her earlobe, “how much I love you.”

I really liked this book, I wanted to give Asya's story a chance after reading Sienna's book and I'm so glad I did it.

Reading about Asya's story makes my heart hurt, seeing her grow emotionally and overcome all her traumas was the best thing about this book, I also liked Pavel and the way he helped her in any way he could, although I still think she needed another type of help (professional help/family support) I am very glad that they both ended up happy. ✨
