I’m conflicted because the execution was great. But the story itself was…mediocre at best. But it was entertaining as all hell. I think if this were an actual book and I were to have actually sat and tried to physically read this, it would have been a DNF. I’m not even sure I would have made it through the first chapter. However, due to how over-the-top the audio was, it was pretty enjoyable to listen to.

RIP headphone listeners.

It was interesting but had a lot of flaws. The story had so much potential but I felt it was wasted in some ways.

That atmosphere really gave me Drusilla from Buffy vibes.

Patrick and I listed over a road trip and that was the perfect way to listen. Together and in one sitting. I don't know if I would have finished it if it wasn't for that.

That being said I'm already not a huge fan of the "Audio Drama" genre so I'm surprised that I enjoyed it.

This review has kinda of painted it in a bad light but that wasn't the intention. It was a fun book with cool ideas. It was worth the listen!
