Fun! Perfect casting and acting. The story is quick with meaningful character arcs and a fully realized world. I’m not normally a fan of vampire stories but this sucked me in from the start. Excellent sound production, too.

The audio book was great! The cast and the way they did the audio book was very unique. It grabbed and kept my attention.

A fairly typical dystopian/vampire story, it has a 'have I read this?' vibe. The style of audio is really good as I like a cast audio. This version has great sound effects as well as a fairly diverse cast. Holliday Grainger as Darcy is a little patronising and the character comes across as very arrogant because of her perfect English accent which leaves her just out of reach as a relatable character. The other characters feel a little more personable and relatable, Liam Cunningham, Himesh Patel, Indira Varma and Bella Ramsey give really good performances. I'm not a big Audio book fan but this was good.
