4.5 ⭐️ I really loved this book. Ending was one of those.. “should go to sleep but have to finish this book” book.
I love books that have a mix of everything and this one did. Suspense, love story and the plot was amazing.
The kids is this book we’re perfect. I always say… if you put kids in books, they should be scene stealers and these are. I love how Jordy is so protective of Cara but when they are in a situation he is brave enough to call for help. Such a good brother!
I also liked that this one had a real “break up” issue over something other than “we don’t live in the same state.” This one had me not knowing if they for sure end up together. Made the book that much better.
Cam and Paige felt like a real life couple vs. book couple. I felt like their story was real and the situations that came up were not just “over” or finished in a few pages.. they carried through the whole book and had to be dealt with.
Would recommend. Definitely a gray book.. will read the series at some point I’m sure but for now this sounded like the best of the series.. aka single dad vibes. Haha

Very cute! I liked the relationship between Paige and Cam’s kids. They were so sweet together. I loved that Cara came out of her shell and Jordy looked to her for comfort. Something about Cam bothered me a bit though. He was so extreme about everything.
