I really enjoyed this book!

I wanted something lighthearted but well written and this book delivered.

A slow burner with relatable characters and complicated family relationships. Covering issues such as grief and addiction with the respect they deserve but with the typical Marian Keyes sprinkling of wonderful Irish humour

The description of this book sounded really good but unfortunately it didnt deliver for me.
The book was okay but it didnt leave much of an impression on me other than the fact that there were so. many. characters. I had to keep looking back to double check who someone was and what their relationship was. I wasnt enjoying the story enough to warrant doing this.
I havent read anything else by Marian Keyes so im not sure if this is how all her books are or if i just chose the wrong one to read first.

I am in the middle of a depressive reading spell, lol

I really adored this book. I love long novels, a big cast of characters drawn so well, luxury holidays, and hand to mouth wealthy households (lol). I am knocking off a star only because the end slips a bit, with some story lines left abruptly.

Cara and Ed forever -- I earnestly cried at the end.
