Entertaining journey.

So much was jam-packed into this short novel. A few cringey cliches but I totally devoured this.

Love love loved this book! Could not put it down!

A somewhat entertaining though very predictable story of a young grifter and her attempts to live a straight life. Though she was searching for her moral center, it felt a bit emotionally manipulative and I struggled to like the young woman.

This was a fast paced entertaining whirlwind of a story about Luciana 'Lucky' Armstrong. She's been a con artist since her dad took her off the convent steps however her dad's in prison her boyfriend did a runner and she's figuring out how to cash in her winning lottery ticket.

Told in a dual timeline we follow her adventures past and present as she tries to uncover the truth about her mother whilst staying out of jail.

Lucky was a great character, I actually felt really sorry for her and it was clear she actually didn't want to live the con artist lifestyle especially when she was a child.

A really easy and enjoyable read.
