An adventurous story with enough mystery to keep me guessing and interested in what happens next. It does have some mentions of suicide but it’s not the main topic of the story.

For 75 percent of this book, I could not take my attention away from it. The mystery around Margo and trying to piece together clues with Quinten the clues that Margo left behind was well written. The disappointment when clues led to nowhere and the anxiety of where the clues were alluding to was amazing. Here's where we get to the "but." Throughout there was vagueness that almost seemed as an out, so that John Green didn't have to come up with a reason as to why certain characters acted the way that they did. Also, the ending was so wordy. it was so extremely introspective and almost epiphany like for the main characters, and it felt like it was too much, especially for teenagers. And this is just personal preference, but I didn't feel like the ending gave true closure.
