I found the villain one-dimensional, but other than that I had a good time reading this!

I am DEVASTATED. I can't even BREATHE. I think my neighbors think that I'm being beaten or something because I've been shrieking and screaming "NO" for the last hundred pages. Yes, I'm being beaten in THE FEELS and THE HEART by this EFFING book. Someone save me.

It was good. Quite good. Had a sad part so I stopped reading for almost six months but it turned out okay. Hard to get into at some points because of the way the accents were written into the vocabulary and spelling. But really added to the story.

Loved the world, got the 'twist' pretty early on. Not a fan of the innocence > everything theme, and the women stuff makes one a touch woodgy, but I'm willing to see how it pans out in the rest of the series. Very dark for a YA book.
