This book is perfect when you are in need of a light and fluffy read. It's filled with funny scenes, soft moments and deals with healing from grief in such a wonderful way. It sure helped me focus on the beautiful memories of lost loved ones instead of only the pain that comes along with grief.
It was also interesting to read more about parts of Chinese and specifically Singaporean culture.

4.5⭐️
It was very sweet and cute, at some moments I even laughed out loud💕

Made me smile, laugh, cry and look at the non existence camera in my room with a shocked expression
I’m a sucker for cute familial relationships an this was a 10/10 on that scale
Only reason it’s not a 5⭐️ is because I wish it was longer. The start felt rushed and I wish we saw the characters become friends before they started fake dating.
I found it a bit odd how the characters saw each other like one time and then went to a wedding as fake boyfriends😐
Idk man that just made me annoyed but the rest of the story made up for it🤭

Cute YA romance. Does not give you anything beyond what it promises, but it's an enjoyable read. I found the two boys (Dylan and Theo) very sweet and the ending is very heartwarming.

This book was sooo cute! There wasn't much I didn't like about this one. I adored all the characters (especially Terri and Dylan). It was nice that they had realistic flaws but were still incredibly likeable characters I was fully rooting for the entire time. The message of the importance of family and following your heart were really special. I loved the relationship between Dylan and Aunt Jade. It was sweet and heartwarming. I also really enjoyed Theo and Terri's relationship and how much they supported each other.

I've always really liked the fake dating trope and this one did not let me down! The tension and mutual pining was so sweet and cute! It may have been a bit insta lovey but I don't mind that too much. I think when it comes to teenagers, that's not super unrealistic. I loved how much they cared about each other and the way they supported each other throughout this book, even when circumstances were difficult. They had a pretty healthy relationship in my opinion!

As a Kpop fan myself, I always laughed a little bit at how many times Blackpink were mentioned. I would definitely be friends with Megan. All the cultural references and explanations of the food were really great as well! It really made you feel involved in the story and made me want to eat all of it. I've never had a mooncake before, but this made me want one so bad!!

Overall, I thought this was a really heartwarming story that I would highly recommend!

This book was so much fun!! I was having such a blast the entire way through—from the beginning, I was laughing at all of the shenanigans, and by the end, I was STARVING. For real—I was especially craving xlb and egg tarts 🤤
Even with all of the humor and lightheartedness, there was still the moments of drama and tension (and yes, I did shed a few tears at the end). But I never doubted our main cast would make it past everything and get their happy ending 🧡 Ultimately, this was a quick read that I had so much fun with!
