While this did have a quicker pace than I was expecting I really liked how things played out in this book.  The plot and characters balanced each other out nicely.

Dylan’s whole entire family were so adorable. The wholesome friendships, sense of family, and love for their passions, this book had so many cute moments.  It’s lighthearted but had its angsty moments here and there.

Best friend is a total dick? Boyfriend’s dad is also way too concerned with his own reputation and is having a massive fight with his family?

I enjoyed the premise of the book but there were just a few things that didn’t work. Overall I enjoyed the development of Dylan and Theo and how they were able to make their relationship work.

This had me kicking my feet, giggling, crying, and there was an audible “shut UP” from me at a certain sweet moment - you’ll know when you get there.

Insta love isn’t always my jam, but this was just too good. Perfect balance of drama, heart melting, and happy moments. The way the story discusses grief and remembrance was also top notch. All around beautiful story.

This book was as cute as the cover!
I didn’t realize before I started it that it’s a YA, and it felt that it was because at some points they (especially Dylan) acted a bit childish, but it was still such a cute read and I definitely recommend it!

I loved the characters, especially Theo- a true gentleman, and Megan! Ooo and clover!! Megan and Dylan’s relationship reminded me of the Humphrey sibling’s in Gossip girl, which I loved!

I absolutely loved to learn more about another culture since I didn’t know anything before but it was so interesting! Loved the food content too!

The found family was perfect! I loved the fake dating, one bed and the whole contest part!

Overall, a really good book the only thing that made it  not five stars was that, for me, it didn’t have ✨that✨ if you know what I mean!

The only thing I didn’t like with this book was those, like, three third act breakups- all by Dylan and for not that valid reasons.

And omigosh, the way Theo flew half around the world and missed his own 18th birthday to see Dylan’s grandparents and get the special ingredient?! Melting on the spot<333 He helped with the mooncakes, the Revolc foundation, the tailored suit, him defending Dylan, him opening up to Dylan, his relationship with Tim, just all of him is perfection<33
