This was so dang sweet and lovely. Food is such a huge part of this book, and I adored the way Dylan talked about the process of making food with his aunt and the meaning behind certain foods. I was hungry for Singaporean-Chinese for the duration of this book, and I regret nothing. It was worth the food cravings.

Honestly, I loved it. Simply put, this book is warm and wonderful. Beyond a couple classic tropes, this book feels as fresh as the ingredients in Dylan’s mooncakes. I love the way characters show up for each other, embrace their culture, and lean into love. If you’re looking for something sweet, romantic, and positively enjoyable, I would highly recommend this book.

This was a cute, if predictable, romance. It follows a lot of the similar plot points and tropes that are in romance. While it doesn’t bring anything new, it is still a fun, light read.
