I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually enjoyed this book. 
Imagine an indie movie with gloomy filter and just the main characters living in their blissful bubble but with a mafia aesthetic. 
Sucks that I found out the author is a racist 🤦🏻‍♀️

When I read The Sweetest Oblivion, I didn't really care for Gianna that much and was hesitant on reading The Maddest Obsession. However, I'm glad I did.

Christian & Gianna are life! Total opposites, but also not really. Christian may be a Fed, but he's just as ruthless, if not more, as the mafia Gianna has known her whole life.

The amount of shit Gianna has gone through in her life, but still holds her head up and remains confident.That's Queen status right there!

Their obsession, and how they roast each other one minute and flirt the next over a span of several years is a roller-coaster ride I'm glad I purchased a ticket for.
