This is barely a book but I’m logging it, fight me if you want to. Glad that the movie embellished on the expert premise of this relatively mundane source material.

I liked that this was a fast paced short story but I wish that there was a little more to it... I liked that this was narrated to the reader, the story was light, and the aging backwards thing was explained quite well...

All in all, good short story.

I don't know really? It was kinda weird but I expected that. I can't visualize it as a movie. But I do understand in my mind the reversal effects and feel it is sad that he couldn't enjoy fully the age he was truly at.

An enjoyable short story. I wish it was longer so there was more room for more details!
The movie was better ;)

This was charming, but since the story has become so famous it did not deliver anything I wasn't already familiar with. Still, I can imagine it was very innovative at the time of publication.

A famous, curious, bizarre story. Just an interesting concept, there is nothing more to praise besides it and the humor. I laughed several times. Listened to it on audiobook, lasted about 30 minutes. It was interesting, but obviously not something you are meant to connect to or feel for at all. It was short, surreal and slightly disconcerting. No plot, just a telling of Benjamin’s life. The best part to me was the beginning. Ha! Got you thinking on the meaning of age and the experiences and prejudice corresponding with it, which is what it meant to inspire, I suppose.
