It's Bridget Jones what's not to love? A classic.

This was a cute, fun read but this may be one of those few times when I actually like the movie more than the book. I know! I know! It could be because the diary format has never really been my thing, but the romance between Bridget and Mark felt a bit rushed to me and seemed better paced in the film. This book is funny and Bridget is completely relatable even as a single British woman in her 30s (my age) in the 1990s. We've all dealt with the fad diets and comparing ourselves to out more beautiful, more successful friends. I think the moral of this story is just sod it all- someone likes you just as you are.
