After the disappointment of the first volume, I was a bit skeptical of a book mainly focused on multiple versions of an Alpha Flight villain, but this was mainly a fun book. Starting off with a reunion of the Amazing Spider-Friends (Spidey, Iceman, and FIrestar), the volume sets a more amusing tone than its predecessor, and follows through in the main storyline where the Wendigo curse affects thousands of Canadians, and the resulting turmoil is more amusing than terrifying.

I reccomend this for Alpha Flight enthusiasts, and Marvel readers who enjoy when The Avengers show up but are only really used for humor purposes.

Monster of the day with some especially dumb writing. And the worse kind of witty dialogue, the kind that thinks it's clever but isn't. And random badly written, not especially well drawn guest stars like Spider-Man and Captain America. There have been some really good X-men books lately, but this was not one of them.
