I had a few moments that made me laugh out loud. Overall enjoyable, fast, and lighthearted read despite having some difficult subjects covered in the book.

Funny enough and a quick read but quite average. (I read it in store so it really is a quick read!)

Miss Butterworth first appeared as a character in a novel read by one of the Bridgerton siblings. Her story became a joke throughout "It's in His Kiss" (and the title makes an appearance!). This book absolutely delivers the wild and funny plot line mentioned throughout Hyacinth's book, including mad pigeons plucking eyes out.

This is a really fun read for anyone who enjoyed the sporadic mentions in the Bridgerton book! Go into this with an open mind knowing it's supposed to be entirely ridiculous and based on early 1800s/1900s serialized dramas published and enjoy yourself.

This was such a fun and quick read. I loved hearing about it in Its In His Kiss and reading it myself was a riot.
