Yeahhhhh wasn’t super impressed tbh. Rating only good pushed up to 3 stars cause it got good towards the end, but it shouldn’t have taken that long lol. I found the writing kinda cringe and the storyline ended up being a little cliche at times. It was an okay book but probably wouldn’t read again.

i need a sequel. dr adam carlsen is too good, i ate him up. the writing did send me back to my middle school fan fic era but it also made me squeal on my couch when she said “she loved him even more for it. for looking at her like she was the beginning and end of his every thought” i’d read it again

I didn't really connect with this book as much as I thought I was going to? It was kind of a rollercoaster. I enjoyed reading it for the most part. I liked Adam and Olive's relationship, but not necessarily them as characters. I would honestly have enjoyed a dual perspective set up. I felt bored in a lot of areas, and the amount of miscommunication taking place drove me insane. Some things I really enjoyed were the banter; it was cute and there were parts that made me laugh! Also, given how poorly they communicate in literally every other aspect, I was surprised but really appreciated how sex was portrayed: very open and honest communication while still being enjoyable.
