What a beautifully done audiobook and book in general! This book seriously needs to be made into a movie asap! It had enemies to lovers, it had disability representation, it had a cinnamon roll MMC, and it made me laugh and cry all in one chapter. The spice is next level and the other side characters are fantastic as well! A must read!

This was my first book by this author. I really loved it.
Oh my word! I couldn’t put this book down! This is the first book in the Hel’s Ink series and its the story of Janie and Fox. This is an age gap romance with plenty of ups & downs. I was so enthralled with this book I couldn’t put it down for anything. I loved Fox the i hated him for how he was acting, then i loved him all over again. Please please read this book! This is going to be a constant re-read for sure!

I saw this book on TikTok and thought I would give it a whirl. Overall the story was entertaining.
Highlights for me included a MMC who is in his forties, the MMC showing some layers of emotion and back story, and the FMC coming to find her true self.
My biggest gripe was the overuse of the term “baby doll” and that the final conflict feeling very out of the blue. I think the couple could have found resolution. Also I get panda of jealous for MMCs but at times it really didn’t make sense.
The spice was solid I would say 🌶🌶🌶
I might continue the series I am curious about Atlas and the epilogue left on a little bit of a cliffhanger in regards to Altas’s story.

I'm usually pretty touch and go with age gap but this was done really well.
I can not wait to get into the next book I've already come to love the Hel's ink crew and can't wait to see where the rest of the guys go.
