“Torch, you’d better stop being so mean to me before I fall in love with you.”
I listened to the audiobook along with reading it, and I absolutely loved it!
I'm not usually an age gap fan, but I couldn't help but eat up Janie and Fox's story! Their chemistry is amazing and how they give each other hell is hilarious! You can't help but fall in love with the story!
From his tortured part to her issues with her dad. I loved this audiobook and eBook!
The banter is top-notch notch and I love all The Office references!
I would absolutely recommend this book and audiobook! Listen to them together if you can! You won't be disappointed!

Something about the way Maxine Mitchell and Sebastian York brought Janie and Fox to life in the audiobook made this a 5 star read for me. I was so immersed in the story and how Janie and Fox came together, as well as their own individual battles and struggles.
I am also absolutely smitten with the side characters and can’t wait for the next instalments.

“I know you’re tiny, but I need you to wrap me in your massive dick energy.”
This book had me feeling all the feels. I swear it would have me lip-trembling sobbing one moment and spitting my drink laughing the next. Maxine Mitchell and Sebastian York did such an amazing job with this narration. I could feel every single emotion in my soul.
Janie is the daughter of the owner of Hel's Ink, and after his sudden death, she finds herself at a crossroads. She either gives her shares of the shop to Fox, her dad's apprentice, or she stays on as co-owner for a year and proves to the guys that she's not just the influencer airhead that they think she is.
I loved Janie's personality, and how her character showed that what we see online is not always real. I also loved the banter between her and Fox and the whole hate-to-love chemistry they had was equal parts hot and hilarious.
The story is not all fun and games though. The author dives into a lot of emotional and mental health topics and rocked every one. I loved seeing Fox's vulnerable side and how he and Janie helped each other heal and grow.
Quote: “Tell me you don’t want me. Tell me to leave, and I will. But I won’t stop loving you. I won’t take Hel’s from you, and I’ll never stop showing the world how much I love you as long as I live.”

The FMC is insufferable. Apparently she has growth, but she's awful enough that I don't care. Being 43, I don't think she's am FMC targeted to me.
