I saw both this Omnibus and the first volume Omnibus on sale relatively cheap and my memory from reading these during the initial print run were that I should grab them. Bad choice.

The art wasn't bad but the writing and the characters were laughably bad at time and other times just bad. I enjoyed the nostalgia but not much more. Pretty happy to be done and wouldn't recommend. 1.5 stars but I'll round up for the experience of revisiting my childhood.

I bought these each month when they were originally released and loved them then. Sadly my originals are long since lost so I jumped at the chance to buy this graphic novel version. It hasn't lost its charms and I really like that the characters are real, with real flaws.
