Eu não consegui me conectar tão bem assim com os personagens, apesar de achar interessante o assunto mais pesado abordado no romance.
Apesar de tudo, a escrita de Emily é boa a ponto de me fazer querer terminar a história, ficar curiosa pra onde estava indo além do final já esperado.

Writing kinda cringey but it’s an Emily henry book so it’s expected and accepted. Anyway I think it’s my favourite of her books. I don’t like ending at all; I don’t understand why there always has to be a fucking time jump ending but whatever.  The meat of this book was good so that’s what really matters I guess.

Emily Henry books hit me right in the heart. It's the same way I felt seen and heard by Sarah Dessen as a teenager...just grown up and with more quarter life crises instead of comings-of-age. And like Sarah, Emily is officially going to be an instant buy author for me from hear on out.

This book was so cute and so well written, you really feel like you're transported into all of Alex and Poppy's vacations while reading. This book follows a nonlinear timeline so you're jumping between the current summer in Palm springs as well as every vacation the two characters have taken throughout their 12 years of friendship. As summer comes to a close and you're looking for a book to make you feel all warm and fuzzy, I totally recommend this one, you will not regret reading it.
