Thank you Penguin Random House Audio for the complimentary alc and Puntam for the gifted copy!

Well that story was a delight! It was the perfect lighthearted and funny read that I needed. A story about friendship, daughter-and-mother relationship, and falling in love with your sworn enemy.

There was so much to love about this book, especially the time warp, double parallel storyline. That provided such a fun and quirky spin to the plotline. The swoony leading man, Jake, was the perfect partner with his support and the relationship with Liv epitomized relationship goals. Liv’s dog was the absolute cutest element of the story and I loved the underlying message about self love and second chances.

Kristen DiMercurio’s narration was perfect by making the characters come alive and I enjoyed the audio so much, it was hard to put my headphones down.

All thoughts in this review are my own.
