I really liked this one. It's so weird and at first I was sceptical towards it, but after reading it all I kind of want more of this author. The writing style is very unique, and I could totally see this as a classic, or a book that schools read and discuss.

Super weird, but also so funny. Not your normal A to B story, so I would not recommend it to everyone, but if people would give it a chance, I think many would enjoy it.

Kuid vahepeal tuleb viina juua, kanepit tuua, raha hankida, magada, filosofeerida, otsida kuskilt veel natuke viina, ahjaa see neljas tüüp tuleb üles otsida.

This was another book I read because it was on a list of recently published Ukrainian books compiled to help readers understand the context of what's taking place there. It just wasn't for me. The bit in the descriptive text about this novel being a "mix of philosophical musings and grotesque narrative with moments of slapstick comedy" ... well large emphasis on the grotesque. Can't get the dead fish full of bees on the Roma dealer's windowsill out of my head.
