Was a DNF a year or two ago. Picked it back up recently to finish. Just didn’t get into the story/as invested as I normally am with her books. I know other people have said this is one of her best - so there’s lots of opinions on this one!
3.5 stars. I love Elin Hilderbrand. I save her books to read at the beach. It is a favorite beach tradition. This was not one of my favorites of EH. I liked it, I enjoyed reading it but I needed either more from a character or more beach scenery or something. Missing the EH sparkle.
It was fine. A nice easy read over the holidays. Good enough.
