Amelia and Nate jumped off the pages with how real they came across. All their struggles with life and love were so relatable. I’ll remember their story for a while.
I adored how the book went from the present to the past so easily, but in a way that made complete sense. I never felt lost reading of Nate and Amelia’s time in Nashville or growing up as kids together. This was a second chance at love story that gripped your heart, made me a tad emotional, but in the end extremely happy.

** 3.5 Stars **
Lots of love and really… not a whole lot of tequilla.
Trama, misunderstandings and Drama.
I am definitely getting cynical in my old age because romance novels used to make me so happy and recently I am just floored by the immaturity of these relationships. And why are women always so snotty?
Amelia and Nate are childhood sweethearts, and yes childhood, not high school. They met and bonded at like 7 years old. Even then, everyone just knew they were destined to be in love, spend their lives together, soulmates one would say.
Over 2 decades later, both in their thirties, after 3 years apart and so many assumptions, Nate throws his self back into Amelia’s life as they untangle the events that led them to place they are in now.
Can they find love again? Well it’s a romance novel, so duh, of course they do. But this is not a romcom by any means.
There’s a lot of emotional triggers in this book, which kind of works for the author because it’s likely there’s something the reader can relate to and will make them understand the absolute insanity between these two people. Grief, loss, heartbreak.. it really makes people do some crazy things.
Overall it was a very emotional story,
there was some funny parts, some really heavy parts, the ending was relatively interesting to and unexpected, aside from the HEA, which is (almost) always a given.

I was thrilled to receive an ARC of this book & um
WOW.
It started off a bit slow for me but about 20% in it was
like BAM * and I couldn't put it down!
Amelia & Nate are soulmates. They've loved each other
since they were kids but were torn apart by tragedy &
misunderstanding.
Three years later Nate comes back home to fight for
his girl. Unfortunately for him Amelia has changed and
isn't so willing to give him another chance. Their
chemistry & attraction to one another is undeniable
and soon they both stop fighting what's really in their
hearts. Of course even then it's not that easy as more
& more secrets are revealed which threatens their
happily ever after.
I LOVED this book!! & The characters are written well
and the story sucks you in. The spice is

He was her first love, they got married without anyone knowing but for some reason she left him. bro then decided a year later to go back and get his girl. Wasn't all that amazing , the spice was mid. pretty much fast read
Sometimes communication is easier said than done. As frustrated as I got with Nate and Amelia I couldn’t stop rooting for them!

Oh the angsty push and pull of Nate and Amelia’s story! It had me feeling all the feels. Miscommunication/non communication is one of my least liked tropes BUT this one was done so well and I loved the ups and downs! Brittanee Nicole NEVER disappoints!!
