gothic romance, morally grey mmc, fated mates, past and present, angels/demons, witches…??? It doesn’t get much better than this.
Just like every Keri Lake mmc, this man has a FILTHY mouth, he is possessive and obsessed with her, he’d burn the whole world for her, touch her and you die vibes. And the fmc is curious, funny, smart and, although she might frustrate you, she’s so RELATABLE. I loved both of them!!
This is the type if book I can’t talk much about without giving spoilers because EVERY detail matter. You look away for a second? you won’t understand the next chapter. The glossary is you best friend!!

I enjoyed the overall plot, but found this to be unnecessarily complicated. The total "burn it down" energy from Jericho was perfection, but Farryn's indecisiveness was infuriating. I have major mixed feelings about this one because it was built around my all time least favorite trope but also had some really emotionally gutting moments (Garic, rip my heart out).

This was fine. I was intrigued by the angels and demons and the flashbacks. The first half was actually really interesting and had me guessing…… however once the MMC figured everything out shit went downhill fast. The pregnancy shit was foul and the ending felt rushed.
