I D E V O U R E D this book. The characters were confusing and enthralling but in the best way. I made it to the 1/2 way point and realized that Lustina is written in 3rd person which completely blew my mind. What a show of absolute genius writing to be able to keep those trains of thought from crossing! I won’t lie, pregnancy in any book gives me the ick, but if there was a right way to do, this was it. I’m excited to see if they make it back to Nightshade and find her father and restore his power

Had me in a grip in the first half but went downhill quickly after. I like Keri Lake for her depravity but there were a few moments where some things were just barelyyyy not crossing the line

This was my introduction to Keri Lake and I liked it! It was very different from anything I’ve read before. It kept my attention and I was intrigued the whole time. Not sure if I’ll jump right into the next one or take a break but I do plan on finishing the series!
