Dit boek is voor mij een van de beste boeken die ik ooit gelezen heb. Hoewel de kritiek op Dale Carnegie terecht is als het gaat om het gebruik maken van vriendschappen voor eigen profijt heeft hij dit nooit gepromoot. Hij geeft tips en praktische handelingen om toe te passen in je eigen leven, hoe je dit toepast is aan jezelf, goed of slecht. Het boek zelf is geweldig. Zijn style van schrijven, aan de hand van kleine verhalen met een duidelijke boodschap is zeer prettig. Daarbij is hij overduidelijk aan het schrijven uit pure ervaring en dit valt te merken wanneer je het toepast in je eigen leven. Het is een van de weinige "Self help" boeken die daadwerkelijk toe te passen zijn, resultaat laten zien en niet overdreven overgebracht worden. Dit boek valt iedereen aan te raden en biedt wijsheid voor aller tijden.

Although you may think this book would be business-speak tripe, it was one of the best books I've ever read. It is full of obvious, common sense-type stuff, but the principles are things you don't spend a lot of time thinking about. I got so much out of this book that this was my second reading. I strongly suggest it to anyone and everyone.

I mean the tips on winning friends and influencing people were okay and I’ll probably definitely will be going back to them but bro, the alpha male yapping is hard to ignore and the author doesn’t present sources when making some pretty far fetched claims.
DNF, got 42% into the audiobook. will finish one day maybe… or NOT…hehehehe…
