This got a 3.8 from me. I wanted to rate it higher because the story and writing was really so good and kept me engaged and locked in. I completely fell in love with the characters and rooted for them at every turn!! But I realized this action crime thriller genre isn’t for me. I love a good mystery and thriller but the action made me feel like I was in the Equalizer movie universe with Denzel Washington. I had to reread some portions multiple times to know who caught the punch, who is getting shot, who is knocked out. I can see why some ppl enjoy this genre but I rather watch it than read it.
