Really enjoyed this book. Two imperfect fathers seek revenge for their sons’ deaths. The characters were really well developed and I thought there was a lot of depth with LGBTQ discussions, racial topics, etc.

It was very bloody/Gory at points… I don’t think it was entirely realistic as I’d imagine modern day police forces would have been better at their jobs lol? It seemed like they were entirely absent through this book

This was a really great read. I loved the dynamics between the characters and I think the message of the book overall came across pretty clearly. Where it loses it for me is in the action. I think there was an opportunity for this to go in a tender direction rather than a violent one and that would have been my personal taste.

When life brings two men together who wouldn’t think they have anything in common outside of the love for their sons. Life gets real fast when they are together, the reality of life as men, former criminals, fathers and partners shed light on what happens when you bring a manhunt revenge against all odds as they seek justice and learn not only about themselves but there sons. They learn about a world they don’t even realize is outside there doors but when it comes to there door. They become 2 fathers who once disliked each other are now the best killers in town.
