hooked

It was a good book. It went by fairly quickly because it was a semi-short book. The twist at the end did not leave on a cliffhanger which was nice. I’m curious to see how the remainder of the story plays out, because this book ended like a happily ever after. It ties in a lot of the Peter Pan aspects we all know and love growing up, but turns it into an adult story. I would read again for sure.

Wow… that was… a book… I couldn’t stop laughing about how serious they thought they were. The smut was wild. The author tried to stay true to Captain Hook lore but we definitely got lost along the way.

I appreciated the pace of this book and that it was fast paced but I felt like the characters could have used more time to develop. I never really cared about either of them. I also thought that the amount of references to the movie was fun but overall the book seemed to read a bit childish to me. Childish with some very not childish scenes
