Loved, Loved, LOVED!! Laughed, cried and fell in love. Can't wait for Henry's book!!
Love!
Such a fun read! As always Emma Chase does not disappoint. I laughed, cried, and fell in love. Can not wait for more in this series!

If Helen launched a thousand ships, this girl could raise a thousand hard-ons
Royally Screwed delivers on what it promises - a smutty royal romance that is quick and enjoyable. There was … a lot of graphic smut so if that’s not your thing then I’d advise against reading this, but if it is your thing then buckle up.
The story is told in dual POV’s and I don’t usually enjoy reading male POV’s in my romance novels because they generally descend into vulgarity. This one was vulgar, but it was done so in a charming way that fit perfectly with the character and didn’t seem as a detractor.
If you’re looking for a fun, quick, easy-to-read royal romance then this is your boy. I’m actually super tempted to continue with the series, especially given that they’re spinoffs and about characters you get to know and love throughout this book.
Oh how I love when a wild child meets his match. And Henry makes his match.

3.5✨
I thought this was a pretty good read! I had fun, laughed in part, tended to my bruised heart during angsty moment, and swooned alongside the love story. It mostly got the job done.
I lost some interest midway, but recovered it with the climax. Overall, I found myself enjoying the romance, engaged with (most) of the story, and looking forward to the third book!
Although I did like this book, it wasn’t enough to get me interested in the rest of the interconnected stand-alones within the series. Except for the third one, which features one of my favorite tropes. I’m midway through that one so far and it’s already surpassed this one. So definitely check it out if you enjoy this book!

2018 update ... I still hate the title of this book, and I still feel like Olivia forgave Nicholas WAY faster than he deserved for the horrible way he treated her. But I did find that I enjoyed the narration quite a bit more this second go around. I'm not sure why I chose to listen to it again. Maybe it's because I wanted to give it a second shot since I loved the third book in this series so much. Well, I liked the underlying story a bit more this time, but I really, really, really hate some of Nicholas's inner dialogue. Groan worthy. Ugh! Still two stars.
Despite the atrocious name for this story (sorry to the fans of this, but I'm not a fan of the double entendre titles) ... I actually was interested in reading this story. I am a sucker for Cinderella type stories where royalty fall in love with ordinary "commoners." I saw several favorable reviews of this story and thought I'd give it a try. I had a super long drive in my future, so I decided to try listening to this as an audible book. This is my first jump into the world of audio books, and it was a different experience than I normally have when reading the books. I think, in this case, hearing the words read made a difference in my level of enjoyment for the story. When I read myself I am able to read the dialogue in a way that sounds right in my head, but when listening to others read I am trapped a bit by the readers' interpretation of that dialogue. Overall, I would say that the two readers of this story did a pretty good job, but there was a lot of dialogue in this story that just came out as hokey when I actually heard the words spoken out loud. I found myself rolling my eyes multiple times, thinking that no one would ever speak or sometimes even think that way in real life.
Having said that, however, I still found this book entertaining for me to listen to during my long drive. There are some rewarding moments found throughout the story, especially when the two main characters actually take time to talk deeply to each other about their various struggles in life. I was driven to keep listening toward the end of the story as Nicholas makes a series of boneheaded decisions and needs to earn the forgiveness of Olivia. I ended up wanting to know more about the other characters in the story enough to consider continuing the series ... but maybe not as audible books. I think I'll stick to reading this particular series on my own. But if you are looking for a great modern day Cinderella story, I still think that The Royal We is a much better story. Two stars for this audible version. It was okay.

Pleasantly surprised how good this was! I do think Olivia should've made Nicholas grovel at the end tho. Like he admitted during the press conference that he screwed up but he still should've gotten down on his damn knees. No grovel at all knocked off a star for me bc it left me feeling unsatisfied.
It was good, I really like Chases writing and since this is a trilogy I'll finish it. Though I can't imagine what the other 2 books could be about. The end got a little dry for me typical ending but up until the argument it was 5 stars hands down!
