Good, not amazing, entertaining. I feel it could be more, but I guess being a middle age book , it left me with the sense that it could had so much more potential .
I really, really like the ending. I know this series is only supposed to be five books, but I felt like the authors left enough loose endings to be able to write more. *cough* write another book *cough* Anyway, it was a good ending to the series and is a series I would reread annually.
This was a pretty satisfying conclusion but also a little underwhelming. I enjoyed reading it, but it definitely wasn't my favourite in the series. Sad to say goodbye to these characters though!
This is the last book in the Magisterium series and it delivers. Holly Black and Cassandra Clare make good on all the rest of the series. All the loose ends come together in Callum last and final year at the Magisterium. Of course it's never as simple as getting through the school year. They have to figure out a way to defeat Alex Strike back from Chaos and threatening the world. Callum must find an elemental of each kind: water, earth, fire and wind to defeat this latest threat.
Black and Clare do a fine job of tying up all the loose ends. I would suggest this series for fans of Harry Potter.
