Was the book written just to present the premise that reality TV is the reason Donald Trump is president?? ....probably not but it comes up an awful lot (and after all the little hints dropped along the way, is discussed at length at the end). Outside of that, very interesting and accessible book. I'm personally disappointed there wasn't a chapter devoted to Amazing Race, the best of the decades-long competition shows (but two for Survivor, ugh boo ridiculous). Oh well, still interesting!

This was an interesting book and well researched, but it was a little long winded for me. There was so much dedicated to Survivor and Big Brother, I never watched those shows so it was more than I needed. But fans of those shows and other reality TV would probably really enjoy it.
