Some takeaways: reality TV has existed long before most of us probably realized it was a thing, reality TV has a lot to do with our current political reality, and reality TV cast and crew regularly get exploited and need better contracts.

I am a huge reality TV fan. I found a lot of this very interesting and other parts painfully boring. The author's bias was very clear and a lot of it (especially towards the end) felt just like her personal opinion. Didn't hate it, didn't love it either.
