The games were fun, but I wanted more tension and build up for the romance. I guessed 2 of the twists .
Got 4/5 and just ran out of steam. The chemistry between the main characters is just not there. Felt no investment in the FMC. Her decision making is confusing, and the plot is paper thin. Just not buying the connection. The smut isn’t bad but not unique. The sister-missing plot is nonsensical and confusing. Was so surprised since this seemed so popular.

Bringing Caraval vibes, but much more wicked and dark. I adored the characters, loving the vast range of them. The challenges were all exciting and there was so much tension throughout the book. A fabulous story with plenty of twists.
