Kindness Goes Unpunished is the 3 book in the Longmire series. Walt and Henry have driven to Philly for Henry's exhibit. Shortly after they arrive, Cady is attacked and ends up in the ICU in a coma. It's a Moretti-clan race to find who hurt her and why.

It's a very interesting book, and as other authors have found, moving two characters from their home can be difficult on the book, as the characters are part of their settings. This happens in this book, with Walt sticking out and not quite fitting into the setting in Philly. While I know he was going for accuracy, Cady took far too long to get better and the doctors kept hammering home how coma's aren't like the movies. And some scenes were unnecessarily graphic in nature.
