Cecelia’s writing is so beautiful and enchanting, it always feel effortless to read as the writing just flows off the page.
This book will always hold a special place in my heart and was just the read I needed when going through a really tough time, Cecelia’s words provided the comfort I needed.

This was a great book. It made me laugh, it made me cry (sorry I am a Braunscheidel). It is definitely worth reading!!!
Totally a "chick lit" book - and not even that well-written, but I loved the main character and the author really tried to fill the book with other interesting characters. Some worked - some didn't.
The concept was appealing, but the narration got sidetracked a good bit with silly stuff. I didn't truly feel sad for the main character although I kept trying to put myself in her shoes. I think because I have kids, the concept of losing my husband is much more complicated than just losing my best friend, so it's hard to imagine myself spending days alone just pining away.

PS, I Love You was a cute story, easy to read, and full of emotion. Still, I felt that the narration left something to be desired. And as always, the book is better than the movie.

I loved the concept of this book, however I felt that many of its plot lines either didn’t go anywhere or just weren’t developed enough. I loved Richard as a character. Definitely preferred the book to the film, the characters were far more likeable and I liked the Irish setting.
Graphic: Cancer, Death, Terminal illness, Grief, Alcohol
Minor: Eating disorder, Vomit, Pregnancy
4.5⭐!
I reread this book and maybe 'cause of that, I remember the heartbreak of losing someone who you actually want to live your life with. This book is full with humour and sadness, Holly with her friends her new job boss (plus Daniel), she finally feel happy. I was BAWLING with tears with the last letter of Gerry to Holly. Gerry just want Holly's life to go on.
And about the big twist in the end, I damn really hate Sharon. She is a total Bitch and that is the one thing I hate about Daniel. His taste. How could you actually like a woman of such a bitch attitude. Daniel has changed my mind of some of the men already!

The beginning was quite depressing, and at one point thought the main characher would never heal. I did think it was a good story of the power of love and I was satified with the end.

I expected it to be a bit more interesting, actually. But worth reading anyway!
