3.8 AVERAGE

Loved the book much more than the movie. That's usually the case though. :)

There were some validity to the reality of being a young widow, but the plot was slow moving. The characters weren't exceptionally warm to my heart.

Nonetheless, it was a sweet average read.

PS- I hated this book

Meski kehilangan. Life must go on. 😊

Sai itkemään niin monessa kohtaa etten edes muista. Koskettava tarina.

//: Toisella lukukerralla edelleen nautinnollinen tarina.

I actually really enjoyed this. It was very entertaining and a great read for being in bed with a cold

I got to see a preview of the movie based on this book, and it made me want to read the book. The movie is very different to the book, but I love them both in different ways. The book is funny, sweet, sad and inspiring.

Just when I thought I would read a "light" read this month that I picked up the wrong book. Oh well, it was worth it still. Though gosh, I cried and cried. And cried. xx

I listened to this book on tape and enjoyed the reader's Irish accent. The story was fine...I cared about the main character and wanted things to work out for her. Most of the characters were predicatable, as was the story line, but it wasn't too long and drawn out. I'm sure it made a good movie...it is definitely chic lit and is therefore as "deep" as a chic flick. :) Probably a good summer beach read.

What an awesome first novel! She's young, she's talented, and she's nearly royalty... but I like the book, too! Very easy to read, good story, easy to follow the plot. I should say that the most difficult part was figuring out what some of the words meant - English, Irish... not sure, but glad I know what a car's boot is... LOL.
