This book was super touching, I cried a lot haha

I loved this book. Even though many things were very predictable and in that way the book was somewhat generic, I loved every second of it. It made me laugh while commuting to work and I loved seeing our main characters happy in love. For me it was definitely a feel-good book.

Lovely book, great subject & well written with the feeling of being real

Underrated story from Christina Lauren. I was really invested in this queer coming of age story and was rooting for the characters to have their happy ending from the very beginning.

Wow, I do not remember reading this book three times in one year. But I guess I did. Anywho, it was fun reading again, remembering all the small details that get lost in memory. The things that make a little more sense now or feel different, having had more life experiences.

This book is the cutest. I love it so much, and I basically go back and forth from smiling so wide to trying not to cry. I don't know a lot about Mormonism aside from what I've grown up around, but I do know that there's a lot of debate around issues within the church (and other denominations as well). I think that the discussion of religion was handled really well, and I wish so much for a sequel. I love how the book that Tanner was writing can be basically the novel that we all have in our hands. It feels personal yet universal.

I'm a huge Christina Lauren fan, so it was about time that I got around to reading this one. I thought the premise was cute, and I liked that it felt like upper YA with older characters, but the love story was a little choppy. I liked Tanner as a character. His friendship with Autumn was fun (until they took it way too far), and I enjoyed his relationship with his family.  However, Sebastian was quite hard to like. I know it was tough for him as a Mormon to be his authentic self, but the whiplash he had throughout the book was exhausting. I did like that the epilogue was longer because it gave me a chance to see the character development, but overall, this wasn't my favorite from this duo.
