this is one of those books that's hard for me to wrap my head around to form a solid opinion. there were points where the story seemed to drag on. it was very character-driven, which already makes the story slow. nonetheless, the writing was good, and the subject matter was a good choice to write about.

I loved this book, both Tanner and Sebastian are such relatable characters. This book was written so well and my emotions were invested 100%. My heartbroken when you saw Sebastian just freak out and reverted backwards into being someone he’s not. I was so happy when he decided to follow his heart and not listen to what he had always been told. Also that part where Sebastian signs Tanner’s book with a mountain drawing? Yeah I might have cried
