Of all the Talia Hibbert books I've read, this one might be my least favorite. I'm not a huge fan of folks who are flighty and/or can't commit, so Jasmine was not a compelling heroine--and Rahul pined for her way more than I could stomach. I do, however, appreciate how Hibbert acknowledges that both behaviors aren't healthy, and the chemistry between the two of them is excellent (this book is STEAMY!).

Jas and Rahul will forever be in my heart. I loved everything about how this book developed. It was very real and raw. The family dynamics, the self destructive behaviors, all of it just brought so much more to this best friends to lovers. I was in love with my best friend and completely felt Talia portrayed it perfectly. The emotions are confusing and scary, while also beautiful and exhilarating. The steam was top notch. If you are a fade to black type of person this isn't it. I'd say 🔥🔥🔥 but I love all the steam.
