The pacing of the first 50% was so slow i almost quit the book. I liked the paring but I couldn't connect at all with Jas, I think she was written very superficially. The bond was borderline unhealthy and I'm not sure the MC got his shit together at the end like he wanted to, but two stars anyway because Rahul is lovely

I didn't click with this one the same way I did the princess trap. I still had a good time and I can relate to Jasmine's self doubt for sure. But as someone who LOVES pining and angst, it just didn't hit.

As per usual with Talia Hibberts books I loved it. The character dynamics and the banter and everything is just so good. I also liked the duo pov and the spice was spicy. Still not 5 stars though, would have liked Jasmines inner conflict to be a bit more present through the book and the friendship with Rahul didn't feel as close in their actions as it was described to the reader

I liked it. Would read more by this author. Recommended by Gated Mates Podcast.

three words: ‘mound’ and ‘tightest hole’.
Other than some cringey dialogue and bad anatomy descriptors, the book was fine.
